Pile of Problems
03:29
|
|||
I've got some problems, I'm sure you do too, mine are worse than yours, that much is true for sure, in all that I do for sure, I will work through for sure, all of these problems. But if I could trade away all of my shades of gray for somebody else's little life issues, that would not be a misuse of company money. But once I had all these new issues, I might miss the old ones I'm used to...
Throw your problems in a pile with everyone's, you don't know, you might put up a fight to get yours back.
I've got more problems than an elephant at sea, your problems let you float, my problems make me sink. My only problem with your problems is that they seem so easy. What's your problem with my problem with your problems? You say your's are hard to see, like an iceberg with such mass lurking below. Sometimes you've gotta hold on tight... and let go.
Throw your problems in a pile with everyone's, you don't know, you might put up a fight to get yours back.
Look at the pile at first and your contribution will seem like the worst, with no solution. Look at the pile more closely and you'll start to notice, other people's core problems will come into focus!
Throw your problems in a pile with everyone's, you don't know, you might put up a fight to get yours back.

Remember not to forget © Lightning Lucas, August 2015
Capo 2, Key of G, but hangs around C2 the whole time
Click, Snap the rubber band around my wrist.
Click, Snap the rubber band, remember not to forget. Both lines x2
A dreary day can get me down, I laze around and hear the sound of rain upon the roof, and I need no more proof of the goodness of the universe or God and the burden that's been laid upon us, work the ground and help the poor and let's be honest, it's a hard road and sometimes our hard earned peace turns into sorrow though at least we have each other through our struggles and fears, recall the storm clouds clear.
Chorus x2
A happy time can leave me high, it makes it hard to sleep at night, and when the morning does arrive I might be in hyper drive and I can lose my mind, just like two years ago this time, and life's a balance beam for all of us... and I'm a high-wire werewolf, there's no telling what I might do or what I might say, or how I might behave, so that's why I take my high-wire walking training seriously, and try to stay inside around the full moon!
Chorus x2
(I must) Remember that the last time won't be the last time unless
I/You/We/We keep in mind it might not be the last time x4
Chorus x 2
